We want you to love your home.

I once heard someone say that instead of trying to save the world, the best thing you can do is to be a happy person living in it. That inner peace radiates out to those around you. After that, it didn’t take me long to leave my career in politics and embrace a more creative life.

I’ve been rearranging furniture and changing decor since I was little, but my career in the design industry started with furniture marketing. I transitioned to home staging in the Bay Area, where I became the lead designer. I finally struck out on my own, starting my design firm, RGH designs, in 2012.

Nothing makes me happier than meeting a new client, listening to the frustrations they have with their current space, and then seeing the light in their eyes when they see their space transformed. Design can change lives.

When I’m not working on client projects, I’m spending time in my art studio or tending to my retail gallery, The Space. I love creative projects like repurposing found objects or repainting pieces to breathe new life into them. Many times a year you can find me hunting for vintage pieces at markets across the US, and usually dragging my husband and two kids along with me. My passions are my family, my creative spirit, my health, and your projects.
